Physical Fitness Readiness Assessment

The PFRA measures cardiorespiratory fitness (2-mile run or 20-m HAMR), muscular strength (push-ups or hand-release push-ups), core endurance (sit-ups, cross-leg reverse crunches, or forearm plank), and body composition (waist-to-height ratio). Airmen must earn the minimum composite plus the minimum in every component.
