As an Endocrinologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients who have problems with their metabolism and endocrine system which is a complex network of glands and organs in the body. Your role as an Officer on the U.S. Army health care team will require you to be in command of medical units, as well as provide health support for commanders at all levels.
