What it is

OHA reimburses actual rent (up to a location cap) plus a Utility/Recurring Maintenance Allowance and a Move-In Housing Allowance (MIHA). Published by DTMO for each overseas location.

Who qualifies

  • Active-duty members assigned OCONUS who rent private housing.

How to apply

  1. 1Submit lease documents through your finance office (OHA Report DD Form 2367).
  2. 2OHA and utility allowance appear on LES; MIHA is a one-time payment.
