What it is

Managed by USTRANSCOM / SDDC through the DPS (Defense Personal Property System). Options include DoD-arranged move (HHG), a Personally Procured Move (PPM, formerly DITY) for a monetary incentive, or a hybrid.

Who qualifies

  • Members with qualifying orders; weight allowances scale with rank and dependent status per JTR.

How to apply

  1. 1Log in to MilMove (move.mil) once you have orders.
  2. 2Complete counseling; select DoD move, PPM, or hybrid.
  3. 3Coordinate pack-out and delivery with the transportation service provider.
