What it is
Most CONUS family housing is now privatized (MHPI). Members forfeit BAH to the housing partner and live in installation housing managed by the private operator with DoD oversight.
Who qualifies
- Active-duty members with dependents; eligibility and priority set by installation Housing Office.
How to apply
- 1Apply through the installation Housing Office as soon as PCS orders are received.
- 2Join the waiting list; accept assigned unit and sign a Tenant Bill of Rights.
