What it is

Under DoD policy implementing the FY 2022 NDAA, eligible service members receive 12 weeks of parental leave following a qualifying event.

Who qualifies

  • Active-duty and eligible Reserve members after a qualifying birth, adoption, or long-term foster care placement.
