What it is
Each Service pays up to 100% of tuition and fees for approved courses taken by active-duty and eligible Reserve/Guard members, at rates set by DoD policy: up to $250 per semester hour and up to $4,500 per fiscal year (DoDI 1322.25).

Who qualifies
- Active-duty members of all Services (rules vary by Service).
- Eligible members of the Reserve and National Guard per Service policy.
- Course must be at a DoD MOU-signed school and lead to an approved credential.
How to apply
- 1Meet with your Service education counselor and build an approved education plan.
- 2Request TA in your Service portal before the course start date (ArmyIgnitED, Navy MyNavy Education, AFVEC, MarineNet MCTIMS, etc.).
- 3Complete the course with a passing grade or reimburse the Service.
